Iran Commissions New Facilities at Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant, Says Operation is Normal
Iran's First Vice President Dawudi attended the opening ceremony of the new nuclear power plant facilities in Bushehr on the 3rd. He said in his speech that "putting the nuclear power plant into operation has been Iran's long-standing and ambitious goal."According to reports from Iranian radio and other media, Dawoody said when arriving at Bushehr Airport that relying on Iran's own technology to produce nuclear fuel is "one of Iran's political strategies." He pointed out that Iran plans to produce 20 million kilowatts of electricity by building nuclear power plants. He also pointed out that the Natanz nuclear facility in Isfahan is currently in the operational stage and has not yet encountered any difficulties in the production process.
Dawudi also said that the "unwise position" taken by the United Nations Security Council on Iran's nuclear technology for peaceful purposes will not have a negative impact on this process. He said that this position was just "a psychological war" and "given the Iranian people's firm determination to produce peaceful nuclear energy, this illegal move will never make us give in."
He also emphasized that all facilities at the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant are safe and are currently operating normally. The International Atomic Energy Agency has also confirmed this issue. He said that the safety factor of the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant is very high and there is no possibility of obtaining nuclear fuel for the production of electricity. any obstacles.
It is reported that the new facilities of the nuclear power plant that started operation on the 3rd include a central pumping station, cooling system, and power conversion system. Officials from Iran's Atomic Energy Agency also attended the opening ceremony of the new facility.
